I'm sick of bending down in public bathrooms to see if anyone's in the stall, or hesitatingly opening a door if the stall goes all the way to the floor.

Some doors have a label that turns red when you latch the door from the inside, but these are hard to see from the bathroom line, and then you end up with a bunch of women milling around, peeking at each door and holding up traffic.

Let's have an indicator light that's clearly seen from the bathroom line like they have in train stations. In addition, the light could turn orange or something if it's out of order or needs a cleaning.

Lights require electricity, wiring, maitenance....

Why not just apply the KISS principle, and make the existing inidcator bigger? Or perhaps make it pop up/out from the top of the door so that it's more visible?

Do these Depends make my a** look fat? Because I'm just done with the hole line thing in the first place.

Indicator lights are found in most public bathrooms in Korea - and easily seen as they are mounted center near the top of the door.
