Many parents complain that they are not up to date regarding their child's school performance. A solution to this problem would be to create an email or text message grade notification system. When a teacher enters a grade into a gradebook software program, the parent would receive an email or text message with the child's grade and current average.

Up to a point (like high school/college) when it begins to be more of a parent constantly looking over shoulders. This is just another way for parents to snoop on their kids.
