A small cart that can move throughout a house ahead of the person operating it by simple voice command ("go" "stop" "faster" "slower"). It need not be able to navigate stairs or any rougher terrain than perhaps going from hardwood floor to rug. It could have an adjustable height. It could employ the same kind of sensor mechanism that automatic vacuums have allowing it to avoid bumping into walls. I remember when I was on crutches it was difficult to carry anything. I put an ironing board on top of my grocery cart and nudge it ahead of me to carry something like a plate of food from the kitchen to another room. Could also be useful for the elderly or otherwise less mobile.
