MonkeyDart Mutual Fund | |||||||||||||||||
As we have read time and again, a bunch of monkeys throwing darts at a dartboard comprising stocks of the S&P 500 picked a portfolio that over a year outperformed the stock picks of a panel of experts. I would start a mutual fund using this strategy - 5 monkeys, a big dartboard, superior returns. Operational costs would be significantly lower than our competitors', savings that can be passed on to our investors as lower-load fees.

Awesome.
Respek.
Are you sure the monkey story isn't an urban legend?
You could publicize your fund with ads showing five chimps dressed in suits sitting around conference table with a dartboard in the background, with the caption, "Our Management Team."
Using a program that generates five random tickers of the S&P 500 Index would be even more cost efficient... No need to buy bananas :)
