In Japan, I noticed that vending machines provide canned, *hot* coffee & tea. They are not gourmet quality but are good enough. There is no good reason why this cannot work in the US. So many Americans are coffee/tea guzzlers!

(a) We get vending machines that can keep beverages hot.

(b) We get the coffee/tea and can it, the seal and the heat should keep it fresh awhile.

(c) We place these vending machines where people wait and would be willing to have quick, convenient coffee - laundromats, DMV offices, areas where inconsistent demand prevents setting up of proper coffee shops.

You can get hot coffee out of a vending machine, but defintiely not *hot* canned coffee (I don't think) . . . this is an interesting idea.

I love your idea. I will be a regular customer of the canned hot coffee/tea.

We just need more Starbucks locations ;-)

It only takes a minute or so to brew fresh coffee; what we need is a vending brewing machine that would quickly grind the beans just before brewing (for fresher flavor). I'm willing to wait a few extra seconds for a good quality cup of coffee.

Now, if we can only have it dispensed in proper ceramic mugs instead of paper cups...
