If you live in a town where the only delivery you get is bad pizza or nothing at all, then this idea is for you: a general delivery service for restaurants/grocery stores/drug stores/etc.
If a business doesn't have its own delivery service, you shouldn't have to suffer. It's cold and rainy one day and you really want Chinese food, but your favorite place doesn't deliver? Call up MyTown Delivery and have it brought to you.
The service could take a percentage of the check added onto the total, paid for half by the restaurant and half by the customer. Different businesses could have different pricing structures if necessary. There could be a minimum charge to avoid a trip where they get paid $.05 to get a candy bar.

Our town just got one of those services.
