Breakfast Delivery | |||||||||||||||||
I live in Chicago and cannot have my breakfast delivered to me. If I had a rough night (as I just did), and have no energy to deal with driving to a restaurant, let alone make myself a decent meal, why can I not have my Sunday brunch delivered? I can get a pizza but not a scramble?

Quality Weekend Brunch: I totally agree a service that offered quality coffee's, teas, quality breakfasts even for special ocassions. The service should also deliver a choice of morning papers (NY Times, Washington Post). It could even be served in real plates and silverware and flowers and simply put at the front door for later pickup. A quality breakfast with all the above for 50 - 75 plus tip has to be profitable for some small businessperson. I would pay for special ocassions (birthday, mothers day, anniversary, new years day (hangover days). A special discount could be offered for those ordering the evening/ night before. Great Idea I have often wondered Why Not.
I recently did a school project called Business Plan, we each made a business of our own, Mine was delivery breakfast... i'm thinking it would be a good idea to open one in my town...any ideas or comments??
I developed a business plan for this about 10 years ago and didn't act on it then. I am now implementing this idea beginning with market testing, product development, etc.
My plan is to franchise the plan after if initial results show this to be viable.
jseraf - I see your post is from quite a while ago. Could you perhaps be behind Ritter's Breakfast Delivery, which opened recently in Chicago??

Not to be flippant, but pizza sounds great! I eat it for breakfast warmed over from the previous evening. I have a solid cooktop range so I just set it on top of the range and it's done lickety-split! Don't try to microwave it... even my DOG won't eat a soggy pizza!
I'm a chef, and I often thought this idea was a great one. I thought about opening a business that delivers breakfast around a college campus b/c I remember how I was in college. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is a good idea. maybe I will put my ideas into action someday!
