food tubes | |||||||||||||||||
Why not make food tubes similar to a caulk tube where you would purchase grape jelly, Ketchup, mayo, mustard etc in a cylindrical shaped tube that would either be used like a deoderant or chap stick type dispensing method that would eject the food. keeping voids and air pockets to a minimum helping the shelf life of the item.

This might work though it would probably cost more than a regular bottle. This would certainly make it easier to get the catsup out of the bottle. I would suggest that the tubes should be clear so you can see how much is left in them.
These already exist for mayonnaise and catsup here in Helsinki. I would particularly like this for honey which is a real mess to use.
How about using the same type squeeze bottles we now use. Just put the food in a sealed bag inside the bottle with the outlet at the top and put a one way air valve on the bottom of the bottle. When pressure forces the product out the bag collpses a bit more. Air comes in the one way valve and everything is set for the next squeeze.
