New bottle cork | |||||||||||||||||
Opening a cola bottle could a challange for handicaps and children. I have an idea Block its opening from inside with a plastic ball. Whenever a bottle is filled, its vacuum or gas pressure pushes the ball up on to the top which blocks its gas from leaking out from inside. The cap is designed 1. to have a pin on the top to press the ball down. 2. with curved cogs on outer circumference for a better grip. or can be shaped triangular with round edges. In any case, it should not be round. As it is today. Besides the young generation needs new and funny ideas, specially when they work. The ball in the bottle could be in interesting and funny color combinations and pictures or messages. The rattlling noise of the ball could also make it a popular music instrument.

I can see the advantage of the non-round cap, but what's the point of the ball?
Anybody who has ever had a good look at a ball knows that it has no points.
Dwane first,
The theory of putting a ball inside is to minimize the pressure on the cap from not opening. The ball inside will block all the inside pressure which ultimately will make it easier to twist open the cap more easily than today.
Now sand,
Please read it once more. Nowhere it has been mentioned that ball should have edges. Its the shape of cap I am talking about.
The pin the cap could be a ring, to hold the bottle with a finger.
An opner for the edged cap can also be desgined and put in the shops or homes.
The same theory of redesigning the edged cap can be applied to other products like jam bottles, pickle bottles etc.
