UCE(2)

The idea is pretty simple and the abuse and misuse of power by various govts around the world makes it even more desireable now.

Now, what happens is that everybody knows that threatning things are happening in a particular country but none can interfere because they simply declare it an INTERNAL MATTER and continue. With UCE, a global govt. you eliminate this barrier and involve in these so called INTERNAL MATTERS. Latest examples? Sudan ( Darfur), Iran, N. Korea, china( polution, human rights, space interferance) and so many others. In fact, all the countries are taking advantage of the loopholes in the current global political system. All the countries are fully aware of the handicaps and inadequecies of UN and its impotence in dealing with certain matters.

Therefore, UN should be dissolved and UCE should be found. This will counterweigh and plug the loopholes, making things happen on the ground by possesing and enforcing power to interfere directly.

UCE will be able to preserve and maintain the order and balance more efficiantly than todays govts and UN. UCE will find more DIRECT, suitable, rational and quicker solutions to problems like poverty, wars, corruption, economical disparities, human rights, climate change, endangered species, rain forests etc. In this case all the issues are viewed globally, not regionally. All that is national today will become regional. All the national govts of today will become subordinate govts under UCE and function more or less under the direction of UCE and will be liable to report to it.

All that is important to the world and in the favour of mother earth and its children, is adopted and all that is irrational, harmfull is discarded. All the matters are discussed with all other representatives from around the world and solutions and suggestions are found, voted and bills passed on the basis of fundamental democratic rules.

So, where is the problem? I really wonder, why people on this site have only shown their sceptical view to this easy, democratic and revolutionay thought? Why can't we choose UCE representatives from the existing govts and discuss matters on broader scale( global scale)?

Whatever local political system or religion the countries might have, democtratic or communistic, Muslim or Christian, hardly makes any sense as long as they conform and comply to international rules which are framed using common sense, in the common interest of the world( including them) and deliver positive results for common people.

Lets see, if UN was not founded and if I had suggested this idea for the first time, how would you react?

Same way? UN was also seen as <an impossible thought> once but it occurred and became a reality. In my opinion, we must see UN as our first experiment which has delivered at times but now, it has started loosing its grip and authority.Time and again it has expressed its helplessness in dealing with serious global matters. It has become a vulnerable and manipulative organization, mainly because it is not directly connected with the common people. It will remain so or even worsen, as long as it exists as passive organization. It is still only a directory organization and can not interfere and virtually lead a nation in crisis. It still relies on others to come forward, accept its resolutions and show results. It can only show its contentment or resentment in the aftermath of time. Nothing more.

Todays requirement is a body, more drastic, more powerfull, authorized and able to handle the worlds problems by directly imposing on the defaulting countries and eventually <takeing-over> their custody, if neccessary. No wars will be fought in this case, no weapons are produced and merchandized, no nuclear tests are required, no terrorism will exist, no caste, religion or economic wars are fought. Only The biased powers are poised and the <killing instinct> of competition is subdued, not competition. All that is done is done with the mutual consent and joint agreement of all the countries of the world. All that is thought is thought in the common interest of the world. The corrupt and incompetant are displaced and brought before justice without red-tapism and precious loss of time and people’s sufferings.

I don’t claim that problems will come to an end and the world will become a heaven but the views will be broadened, angles changed and the intensity of hate and selfishness causing dangerours consequences will disappear to a great extent.Unrests and resentments will still be seen but then they will be seen and tackled on a totally different scale, perpective and fashion.

The subject is vast and can not be explained on this web-site, therefore, I would end by saying that only a positive thinking can change this world and only revolutionary steps pave new ways. And I am not suggesting anything new to be done, only I am saying is to utilize our modern experiences of political systems and expand the scale of democracy and make them global on the same fundamental principles which already exist. The frame or chasis of UN be kept and more powerfull & latest UCE motor installed. Its just like adding one higher floor to the existing building.

If someone claims that the existing systems are flawless and nothing CAN or SHOULD be done, I would like to hear Why?

I doubt anyone would wish for a unified world more than me but this goddamn foolishness about everybody holding hands and kissing really needs a strong laxative to get the shit out. One glance at the eagerness that so many disparate peoples are intent on murdering each other, so many really powerful forces are intent on destroying the Earth's capability to sustain life in their overwhelming greed, so many people are living in all sorts of odd unrealistic fantasies that the concept of a peaceful world order is, in itself an unrealistic fantasy. It's probably the very best fantasy but one glance at current and recent history should be accepted as a reasonable antidote. If you could offer a reasonable way to get from here to there I would listen. I haven't heard anything yet worth listening to.

You keep spamming this idea over and over again. Could you cut it out?

The following is a short list of folks who have tried to create a unified world government:

Joseph StalinAdolph HitlerA long line of folks in the Roman EmpireNapoleonAlexander the GreatHannibalSpanish ConquistadorsYou, apparently

Not exactly the friendliest folks. They couldn't do it with massive, unmitigated violence (and in one case, threat of nuclear war). I have no doubts in your failure to do it sitting around on the internet, intermittently toggling caps lock for certain words. Great, powerful men with the support of their people have tried both peacefully and violently to create a world governing body. It always fails, because you can't get every dictator everywhere to agree all at once.

We can't do the thing you suggest for blazingly obvious reasons. Consider this analogy:

You are in front of a thick concrete wall. You suggest running headfirst through this wall to get to the scooby snacks on the other side. No amount of need, goodwill, or perseverance on your part is going to get your soft, pulpy body through a big ass concrete wall. Someone points this out, and you make vague, unspecific accusations of pessimism.

However, I realize you are utterly convinced you can achieve world peace by making long, rambling posts on a small website. By all means, continue. Don't reality slow you down. Viscosity is for the weak!

I would have to guess, based on historical events, that even if you could get a representative from all the countries and principalities of the world to agree to meet somewhere they wouldn't be able to agree on the shape of the table, much less where they were to be seated at the table.

The ones who did arrive for said meeting would be there solely to look out for the interests of their country and would not agree to allow outside forces to dictate what they could & couldn't do in their soverign territory.

Eventually they would give up, take their ball, and go home.

The world is the way it is because most countries agree to live on their side of the line without causing trouble to the neighboring states. There's a heck of a lot more borders that don't have conflicts going on than one's that do.

Here's what you do Naresh.

Become president of your country. Ask the next door neighbor to merge with you for the common good of both countries. Try not to be offended by the hysterical laughter that follows.

How about a united peoples of the world - with 1 vote per 1 person; a people's congress restructuring the *united of nations* concept to take a bicameral people's congress and the existing UN concept as the senate.

but really, if the objective is a fair stable long term earth - establish a universal currency issued by a global issuer at 1m units per population, and a world without inflation and boom/bust cycles will not collapse to war all the time.
