I doubt this is a new idea but I have seen much effort in scrubbing away graffiti and frequently this is quite difficult and the cleansed surface never looks exactly the same. Although non-painted surfaces require this effort I wonder if it is standard procedure to always keep a few extra gallons of paint that is used on an exposed painted public surface. That way it would be much easier and quicker to merely paint over a surface marred by graffiti so that the surface resumes its original character.
