Then let's create a special surface that makes car tires unnecessary.
Then a device that makes accidents not happen.
Then a device that makes traffic not happen.
Then we should bring back magical unicorns and all fly to the moon and eat cheese.
Morons like you are the reason that sites like this will never make a big impact, because people like you don't do research or have any ideas other than those that'd make your insignificant life 5 minutes easier.
Despite all of your wonderful contributions, EmeraldFalcon! It's guys like this that prevent all of your wonderful and fruitful ideas from being heard. Once these guys would quiet down, then we can finally hear the constructive things you have to say, you fertile mind, you.
This is a good idea. In certain situations an airflow can be created to keep rain, snow, and insects from impacting a windshield. It would not need necessarily to cover the entire windshield, just the central area of the drivers vision. Ever see what happens in a vortex, the solids are rejected to the outside perimeter. If in some way a vortex could be created along the axis of the hood in front of the driver, perhaps the solids could be cast away from in front of the drivers' side of the windshield. Anyone have any serious experience with fluid dynamics? Good Idea! Keep thinking!! Keep Posting !!!!
Thanks for all your comments. I think the solution will be a special liquid or glass that do not permit dust or water to stick on the glass. Also could be car´s fan. I experimented with it with a regular fan, it worked but you need a very powerful fan.
Put a jet engine into car and use bleed air off the compressor stage to get rid of the wipers and stop rain from hitting windshield--good idea--fighter jets--use this system but the windshield still needs to be cleaned--
Get out and clean your windshield every so often and you might loose a little weight in the process--or put a jet engine in car and run it all the time to keep the windshield clean
...simply make the water run off easier, since glass is 'polar' and water is also 'polar' make the glass out of somthing that is non-polar then the water will run off the front window faster
Rain-X works fine over about 35 mph, in fact it works better as you drive faster, not so good under 35 mph. I also use Rain-X wahser fluid, and I'm tempted to get the Rain-X wiper blades.

It's a desire, not an idea.
Try Rain-X.
It works. I've used it for years. Don't even have to turn of the wipers in a downpour.

I think this last comment could be a first step to the solution.
The solution has already been invented and marketed.Again, try Rain-X.
Thanks Hyenuf, you are right
I have to disagree on the premise that this isn't an idea...just a wonton wish. But let me help it out.
Here's an idea. I suggest we replace wind-shield wipers with human prosthetic arms holding stuffed bunnies.
