I have been to the doctor feeling just a little low- something's not quite right- tired etc, paid heaps of money, got blood tests and it turns out it's just an iron deficiency or something really simple and easily fixed at the local chemist. I want to know accurately what is wrong- zinc/iron/magnesium but I don't want to spend that that enormous amount of money any more...
My solution is to use technology that exists for diabetics but change it so we can detect various trace levels in our blood. You can get simple devices that detect blood sugar levels- there is even a non- invasive watch. You could get your blood level and compare it to the norm and self diagnose at a fraction of the cost. If nothing looks too deficient- then it's time for the doctor.

Rather than spend money on gadgets to micro-manage my body I would simply take a multiviatamin once in a while and eat regular & well balanced. The once a year physical should catch the odds & ends that don't respond to that.
Of course, if you have a specific concern that doesn't seem nutrition related you should seek a medical professional's opinion.
I don't remember the exact name of the company but I suggest and ask for wearable check devices and hopefully you will find one. I think its telecomed.com, just try.
