Having a light strip the full length of your car would increase visibility during the quick and limited time a person takes when they're checking their sides before changing lanes. Having a full length also allows for there to still be light visible even when a bulb or two has gone out. Current configurations of light can be blocked by support beams of your own car or by portions of other passing cars (esp. if a car has a lamp out). The Acura TL actually has an indentation from front to back on its side that could fit the turn signal light strip that I'm suggesting (like as if they were going to do it already). It might even look really cool, esp. if there's a choice of colors (red,yellow or clear).
