Daily Monitor of Food Intake | |||||||||||||||||
I would like to create or use, if one exists, a website where at the end of the day, you can select from drop down boxes all the foods you have consumed that day. The website will then calculate how much of the daily recommended amounts of the things that you need to watch carefully i.e. salt intake, saturated fats, calories etc. The website would then suggest what you should consume/not consume to be within the daily recommended amounts for example, you need to eat two more portions of fruit/vegetables. There would also be an opportunity to monitor your weight and bmi index.

If its for your own use, you don't need a website necessarily, it could be done in a spreadsheet, by a sharp programmer.
They have several sites like this, some charge a registration fee and some don't, a couple of years ago I signed up at www.fitday.com, they've got a lot of features like food counts, activity calculators, etc.
