Enetrepreneur High School | |||||||||||||||||
I know there are some weak charter schools out there that are limited by the no child left behind act which puts limits on what can be taught but starting a school that teaches people financial education at the secondary level would be a great idea but i dont know it seems like its very pricey and after school programs are a joke and not nearly as comprehensive as a full time program would be. If I wanted to start a school like this though what options are there just have a school like new horizons and just gear it toward adults as being the specialist for after work people but go up against big behemoth named schools like mit bu and harvard? Or team up with a school like babason let them take the idea since they are well known for entrepreneurial study and create a feeder school for their soon to be students who would gain admision but its already very hard to get into so not sure if that would make sense on thier end but at least they could mold students. another option might be to have schools in the area contribute money to one school that gets geared towards entreprenurial studies and have each school get first dibs on a student or have some sort of system where you evenly split up the students upn graduation if they decide to stay. Any thoughts? I just can't believe nothing exists like this other then some really elist schools geeared toward general business at the high school level and the other problem is why might students pay for their kids to go this new school when they can go to fancy exeter acadamey or philips which well to do people care a lot about name recognition> see any possibilites with this?
