Instead of US marines carrying physical mobile phones and notebook computers why dont they make a pencil that writes on left hand palm ("RUSSIANS USED A PENCIL").
so people who call themselves soldiers in US army and US marine corps can throw away their mobiles and notebook computers and carry a special grade pencil (SG:p) to write and communicate messages so whatever they write on their left hand palm can be reproduced verbatim in wheverever the SOC (special operations command) be?
Hint: UNDER ISRAEL.

The Sussians "Used a pencil" was their answer to writing in Space (and might be just a humourous line at that).
Soldiers need their computers and communcations. A: becasue the technology is there. and B: the fight better with it.
Just a side note on the "Pencils in Space":NASA paid to have a pressurized ink pen because pencils have to be sharpened, and sharpened pencils create pencil shavings, and pencil shavings create floating debris, and floating debris can float into very small electronic components which can cause very small shorts, and very small shorts can cause VERY LARGE FIRES!!!
ps Very small shorts can also cause chaffing. ; ) , D-
Why not a microtipped pencil so there is no need to sharpen the pencil, or a electronic pencil sharpener that "sucks" pencil sharpened-shavings?
