I alway's get a laugh out of the comments when a baby is born. We've all been subjected to them. "She has Aunt Mary's nose." "He has his dad's chin."

To put things in perspective I usually proclaim that the baby looks just like that famous movie star. When everyone asks which one I tell them, "ET." I ain't real popular among the mothers on the maternity ward. . .

All jokes aside, I don't think there is a computer program anywhere that can take all the vagarities of genetics into account enough to render a reasonable likeness of what one's offspring might look like.

This would be more of a funny site, not a serious technical breakthrough.

Given the sometimes huge differences between brothers (and between sisters) who obviously share the same parents, even the best prediction of what a baby will look like must leave lots of margins for error.

Remember, try before you buy.
