Solution Radio | |||||||||||||||||
Most talk radio is designed to separate people by casting blame and beating our self-righteous chest. Angry people from the right or left essentially talk to them self. As a result of this "us and them" exchange, an ugly status quo is maintained. Solution ratio could replace traditional talk radio. Each show would address a given a problem such as alternative energy or peace between Israel in Palestine. The problem would be at the heart of every conversation, instead of the human ego. The goals would be:1. To listen to alternative perspectives for a common problem.2. Help connect people with ideas and talents in specific areas.3. Follow the discussion with comments from a panel of experts on the topic of the day. Gary F. Gordon

The popularity of most talk shows depends on their emotional fervor in one direction or another. Only a few programs try to be fair and they probably are considered dull.
