DAVE UNDIS formed LifeSharers on the premise that altruism doesn't work, that many of those on the waiting list have not signed up to donate their own organs and that self-interest might increase the number of organ donors. To join LifeSharers, all that is necessary is that you promise to donate your own organs when "you no longer need them". In turn you are eligible for the organs of any LifeSharer if you should need an organ.THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!For more info, <<www.lifesharers.com>>CATHERINE GREENEMember since 2004

Finding a good tissue match is not easy. The members of the organization must be very numerous to make the system work.
I posted a similar idea in 2004 - "Organ Donations ...Gone Wild" http://www.whynot.net/ideas/1227Ultimately, this will be the only way to meet the demand.
