send post to email address | |||||||||||||||||
Imagine postal service can provide me an unique email address and forward all posts sent on this email address, to my real physical address. I have a very short address (only an email id), can hide my physical location for security (or any other reason) and no need to inform people but only postal service of my change of location.

That would work in some cases.
Some times, your address has to be known.
The neaerst think now, is getting a PO box.
Then you could use different alias addresses, and figure out what SOB sold your information.
What? So the postal service sends you a hard copy of everything that goes to your e-mail address? I guess no attachments or HTML, then, huh? No links?
The idea is to send posts (not emails) to an alias (email address) and hide the physical address from senders.
Its a nice Idea. There could be an option to choose which mails should delivered to your postal adress to avoid advertising mail.
