I had an idea for the legalized use of All-Terrain-Vehicles on streets, avenues, highways, and interstates. I would like to ask the motorcycle and ATV manufacturers to entertain the idea of making the ATV not just for the trails and fields but for pavement, making the bodies of metal, headlights, turn-signals, bigger engines about the size from 250cc to 1600cc, along with pavement slicks, everything that a motorcycle has (including styles:Chopper, Harley Davidson, and of course a lean forward style street ATV), including the all the chrome, spoke or mag tires. Of course there would have to be a special license and a special driver's test, and yes license plates. Please feel free to respond, any comments are welcome, especially if you know who I could further this idea to. Oh, and don't forget the helmets.

I'm not into the scene, but it seems like you might want to find someone like WEST COAST CHOPPERS for all three of your ideas. Given the TV "flash" factor, you might not only have a good idea but also add entertainment value as well.
You can operate ATVs on the street now in some states in the US. In others, you might have to pursue some special licensing, like "Homebuilt vehicle" (Hot rodders use this one.)
The rest is just window dressing. I'm looking at the idea because they're useful little beasts -- AWD built-in (sometimes), can pull a trailer, and get 85 mpg. Far better for snow and ice than a 2-wheeler, and don't need special Operator Licenses. Ditto the helmet, though.
Its bound to happen. its already happening in Europe. Every year you see more n more ATVs on the roads. Avoid chinese made. They are just rubbish and unsafe.
When energy prices go high enough, ATVs will disappear, along with jet-skis, water-skiing, and all other idiotic ways to waste energy.
