Favorite Foods of Celebrities | |||||||||||||||||
What about a restaurant that serves the favorite foods of various celebrities and capitalizes on the general public's obsession with knowing more about celebrity lives? It would be called, "Celebrity Dish!" and also feature gossip about different celebrities and have TV screens which feature E News etc. There could be an American Idol aspect to it by having diners vote on new dishes. If a celebrity's favorite dish won, then that celebrity could be invited to visit and somehow it could be made into a media event for both the restaurant and the celebrity. The dish could be tied into the image the celebrity is trying to portray - so a tough guy movie actor might submit a Steak Dish. The idea would be to make it 'cool' for the celebrity to actually make the menu. Maybe A lister menu would be more expensive food items..

What about restaurants serving good food at reasonable prices and who gives a damn about celebrities?
I think you're onto something marketable. I think that calling it Celebrity Dish would be a tacky turn-off for the customers you're after. You need something a little more classy: maybe like Viand du Jour or something like that.
