So Ive had this idea for a while now. I want to create a walkie talkie to mount in your vehicle with a corded PTT microphone. The unit would be called CarTalk. The package will come with a nifty looking bumper sticker which tells other people you have CarTalk and you are open to communication. Now, there is the obvious factor that this could be used to fuel road rage and other possible negative effects but the idea is to market it to the "nice people" market, pitching the idea that you can open communication to meet new people, help one another with directions or possible car malfunction.

How do you locate the nice people and keep the axis of evil away?
Its called a CB Radio. Yes, you will get garbage with that, there is no way to avoid that.
If you want to get complicated:You could license ferequencies, sell proprietary radios with subscriptions, or at least with your control, and turn off the radios that for trash talkers. But then, they could get another radio, or hack their radios.
