Before you apply or take that new job would you be interested in hearing from the person whose place you are taking? You could find out what the job is REALLY like. There could be a website where you could post your interest to learn more about a job posted online and people who have recently left their job (not fired but left voluntarily)could post their exit interview on the same site. The site would be free except to access an exit interview post would be a fee. Those who post their exit interviews would earn a nice chunk of change for thier exit interviews.
Okay now I know you're saying could totally scam this system and I'm working on that one...but what if those posting exit interviews had to post their pay stubs with their address and social crossed out and possibly a business card?

In all probability more incisive information could be obtained through a personal interview between job leavers and takers than anything posted on the web. It is a good idea to put these people into personal contact where information can be exchanged with less inhibitions and better subtle psychological evaluation of personalities than a few public statements and less chance of retribution by employers.
The only gotcha is if the person that left on less than amicable terms, you may get a less than accurate impression of their former employer.
A lot of jobs are what you make it; the site might enforce negative biases and skewed opinions, which could be quite unfortunate. Interesting idea, though. Sort of like the rate-your-prof things for colleges. What if it were just something of reviewing companies or departments, etc?
