More Money | |||||||||||||||||
There are some people who are trying to find new jobs. One way of brainstorming new ideas for new jobs is to try to think of products and/or services that wealthy people would pay for. However, we have to leave out ideas (usually technology) that would replace current workers. Exceptions to this concern involves the number of people being hired vs. replaced, the amount of money for those being hired vs. replaced, and whether an entry level job is being abandoned vs. created.

I am curious as to why this effort should be oriented towards wealthy consumers alone. Any fruitful idea towards productivity for the general population seems to me to be worthwhile. To encourage industry that might be inefficient by employing more people than are necessary might also depress the wages that are necessary for any type of decent life and put unnecessary burdens on social services.
sand,
You're correct that any type of job would be worthwhile, but it is a lot easier to brainstorm jobs that rich people would support. I think it is easier on the imagination.
