i think that there should be wireless earbuds that yuou can plug in your ears indivisually and that can go underwater... so that you can listen to your music while swimming. These would stay in place like normal water earbuds that keep your ears from filling with water

Wireless signal transmission requires some way of getting the signal from transmitter to responder. Radio transmission under water is not good. Perhaps some sort of infrared or sonic transmission might work but I am not optimistic.

I have an underwater mp3 player (SwiMP3 by Finis) that work very well. The sound is transmitted via bone conduction on the jaw.
