This idea came to me about a month ago and I do not know if it’s a good idea, neutral or bad, so this seems the best place to put it to find out.

Imagine Wikipedia, but instead of encyclopaedic articles, the focus is on biographies – of everyone. Every single person who is alive, and everyone who lived who is known or remembered. Kind of like an online chronology of the human race.

Just simple, basic information about the person – where they live(d), what they do/did, who they are related to and general information that’s known about them. You could search for people who live in your neighbourhood, people with the same name as you. It’s basically and encyclopaedic version of a social networking site – I don’t care about your hobbies, what your favourite book is and so on, but I would like to know who you are.
