Quite often I hear interesting music in commercials and TV shows, but usually I hear no mention of what the song is. Luckily, more and more media is being distributed digitally, so why not embed this information within the stream? Players that are aware of this data can present information about each scene when an 'information' button is pressed. Hear a nice song on a commercial but don't know what it is? Press the info button and the player will present you with the name, artist, album. Optionally, a 'buy' button can allow the viewer to purchase the track or album from their favourite online music store.

Other information can be provided, as well. Wondering who that actor is on the screen? Wondering what TV show or movie a character might have on their TV? Want to know what the brand of that coat is? Wanting the recipe to what the stars are making in the kitchen? It can all be just a button press away.
