Expensive. Cheaper by mail.

Mail is very very very slow for those who want to watch the move immediately. Nice idea, and with such idea in mind a new business can be created. But only serving movies wouldn't be very profitable as the demand is not likely to be very high... movies can be downloaded to a place(this is a problem that's related to the transportation of information and copyrights, needs lots of details to settle) to be burned into DVDs and then delivered. Books can be downloaded (of course legally, through some way) and then immediately printed out and then delivered. But the printing process is likely to cost a lot... many stuffs can be delivered in this way too, not just pizza and cookie. Or maybe because there're so many things that are delivered everyday, like newspaper, milk, business could be built to serve professional deliveries.... haha, too many messy ideas

Downloads are the real next thing in movie rentals.
