New generation phone keyboard | |||||||||||||||||
Numeric keyboard or Full Qwerty keyboard... Each vendor is proposing a different solution. Actually why not having both on a very slim and small phone (ie. small blackberry pearl). So here is the is idea: The cell phone would have on one face a normal look and feel (ie. again blackberry pearl) with a standard numeric keyboard but it would have on the other face a full QWERTY keyboard on the all length of the phone. We could then take the phone in 2 hands and type with the thumbs. Problem: no screen on the back of the phone, so how to see what is typed? Solution: the phone would integrate a small projector on the main face that would allow to project a 10cm picture on a table/wall/etc. Afraid of shaking? no problem, this phone will be provided with the same anti shaking systems as found in the digital cameras. Cherry on the cake, this cell phone would be easily transformed into a very portable game console that can be a serious competitor to sony's console. Who wants one of these phones?

Check out the Helios (I think that is the name).
You slide the phone one way, a numeric keypad is exposed, the other an alphanumeric pad.
