How many times do you go on holiday, bust a gut to get the number of emails down to zero and find when you return there aer 200 sitting in in your inbox
Rather than an out of office option, we should have On hoilday- this will automatically bounce all emails back to sender with a note to say when you will be back and a request to resubmit the email at that date.
As most emails are a waste of time ( in my expereice) this will result in the sender not bothering to resubmit the email and a load of stress wii be removed.

Good idea however I would be concerned that if some of the spamming sites realise that it had contacted a live account that had responded you may find that you have to add a couple of zeros to the number of e-mails in your inbox
Easier woulds be to tell the regular senders of Email you are going out, and delete everything when you get back.
