I've said it before, combo devices make little practical sense, and will have compromises that each sub-device would not have on its own.

I disagree with classisat--I think combining devices can be really good. I just got a cell-phone with a camera, a GPS, gaming, music storage and voice recording. That's a few devices I don't need to carry. In Europe, I understand they use devices that both wash and dry clothes.Don't have to transfer from one to the other and less floor space.
