Change Card | |||||||||||||||||
Why don't we have a Change Card (fob size, to hang on a keychain or on a cellphone) to which all small change at all stores, fastfood places, etc. worldwide may be stored, until redeemed? Each business would have an electronic scanner to record and update all customers' change. No paper would ever be provided. Fobs could be sold (with advertising - revenue for the issuer) for small amounts everywhere. Extra cash could be "stored" for childrens' allowances, meal plans, etc. If one loses the fob, so what? It'd be just like losing small amounts of cash. We're moving into a totally cashless society - let's speed the process.

After vacationing in a sales tax state and having to sinch my belt up to keep my pants on from all of the extra change....I like. High Five.
See my comment under small change about using cell phones to replace credit cards, debit cards, library cards, ID cards, drivers' licences, etc.
I once had almost 20lbs of change saved up (mostly pennies)it amounted to about $35
