Why not use a little electric car that is charged by it's movement/wheels as it's being towed by the motorhome? The average distance traveled by normal car owners around 30 miles, it's probably a lot less for the motorhome's in-town little friend. And it's always fully charged and ready to go when you get to your destination, no need for extra gas.
