Analysis of the various systems for detecting lying indicates they are all extremely unreliable. Misplaced confidence in these systems is surely likely to create rather nasty problems between individuals.

I agree with sand, besides people need to tell lies to make everyone happy. The reliability of lie detection software would be remarkably low. People have stress in their voice when they are stressed, in a hurry or in general. I think that i would rather just put my trust in another person than probe them like a doctor looking for a cow.

Since cell phones tend to cut out or loose signal rather frequently I can only imagine the types of fumbled and inaccurate readings that would result.
