Innovation SWAT | |||||||||||||||||
SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats whereas SWAT stands for Signs, What-Ifs, Assumptions and Torpors (yes, I know torpor doesn't have a plural but we're doing some linguistic innovation here). In a SWOT it's Strengths and Opportunities that have a positive spin, in a SWAT it's Signs and What-Ifs. In a SWOT it's Weaknesses and Threats that have a negative spin, in a SWAT it's Assumptions and Torpors.

I think that the word "torpor" needs to be defined in this context.
Otherwise, I have the feeling that this may in fact create a "positive-balance" approach to new processes and ideas.
Work on it some more and then re-post.
