Pre-installed or retrofitted induction countertop that frees up valuable countertop space in kitchens, especially in small kitchen spaces. The business idea is to offer a more flexible alternative to expensive induction ranges. You could either install them in pre-existing heat-resistant countertops (retrofit) or manufacture integrated countertops (pre-install). It's only activated when a ferrous material sits on the electromagnet and you could adjust the heat with a wireless device like a remote.

Does it even have to be induction? There are some thermal smooth top solutions out there. Even for gas or open electric elements, they could be covered.
