The Can Cap is a vacuum formed plastic cap designed to press down onto the lip of a drink can (coke or beer) This disposable plastic cap will affix to the can with just friction on the ridge, while allowing the rotation of the cap to close off the can's opening. This simple and inexpensive cap provides an anti splash capability, a clean contact with the can, prevents bugs and dirt from entering the can, and when produced in colors acts as a can identifier in social functions.

I've done the prototype and market research - it really does work in all the ways described.

I have seen reusable ones on the market before.

Yes, I have seen them as well. However, they cost more and when you are done using it who wants to put the sticky thing in your pocket and walk around with it? ....these are disposable because that makes more sense in how they are used. Picnic, sporting event, driving....after all the can you are putting it on is disposable...why shouldn't the cap be?

Where I come from aluminum cans are not disposable. They are worth $$$.

I saw such as this many years ago, but not recently.

Just to update this posting, we have started selling these Can Caps in retail and they are selling very well. People appear to have really taken to them at a 6 pack for $1.49.
