sleeping bag for tropical tour | |||||||||||||||||
SLEEPING BAG FOR TROPICAL TOURS A visitor to tropical countries will know the dangers of mosquitoes and insect bites. A sleping bag meant for tropicaltours should have:1. A netted face mask one inch above the face to prevent insect bites.2. The sleeping bag should be wearable one and should have pneumatic pad at the back which can be inflated for sleeping. 3. Another idea is to have a wearable sleeping bag with flexible solar panels which charge a small baterry which will power a air-flow system in the bag during the hot tropical nights.

Sounds to me like you've never seen a modern tent or air mattress.
Generally, the tropics do not require sleeping bags, but only an insect net. A sheet generally provides enough warmth.
Gettin a place to pitch tents are difficult in the tropics - You can'teven get a 6 x 6 ft to sleep in a crowded city like Bombay in India.I have seen all types of tents and air mattress. A comfortable sleepingback with insect protection is the need of the hour, you talkto a regular traveller who has travelled in the tropics before you makesuch comments
