BRING YOUR OWN BAGS: A new eco-friendly concept to reduce plasticbag consumption. Imagine the next time you to the shopping mallwith your own bags you get 50 cents off. The old bags will have a second lease maybe a third get you a 3-4 dollars a month. Youare making money - you are saving the planet.

Grocery stores that I've seen are offering a bag that is only $1 and that is reusable. Though it would be nice to get a discount on reusing a bag their cost is minimal. These $1 bags are almost at cost in any case and is encouraged to be used by all.
THESE BAGS(BRING YOUR OWN BAGS) SHOULD OF HAVE THE LOGO OF THE MALL ANDTHE ADS PERTAING TO THE MALL SO THAT THE BAGS GET AD EXPOSURE ON THEWAY TO THE MALL AND BACK HOME.
If the bags contain advertising they should be free.
Big Consumer companies can supply these to the Malls. Both the Mallsand Companies can use this medium to advertise. They can supplybags in various sizes, they should be given free to the customers.
These should be a limit only after which the discounts should apply. You can'tget a 50 cent discount on a 50 cent product
BYOB... hmmm... Where have I heard that before?
I always bring my own bags when shopping for groceries or whatever. I keep several in my car in case I forget to grab a few on the way out the door.
One of the supermarkets here has begun a program that discounts your bill $.05 when you use the bag again. The bag is free. It's printed with their logo and the intructions. You continue to use it and get the five cent discount until you toss the bag.
