A PEN WITH BUILT IN MINIATURE CAMERA(A MINIATURE WIDE ANGLE LENS ATTACHED VERY NEAR THE NIB OF THE PEN) WHICH RECORDS EVERY WORD YOU WRITE - STORES IT IN ITS MEMORY - WHICH YOU DOWN LOAD INTOYOUR PC- HELPS KEEP A RECORD OF WHAT EVER YOU WRITE.

Can present technology cram sufficient memory into a pen sized instrument?
We are talking about memory in the range of 512 mb for the memo pen.When we get 2gb pendrives it should be possible to stuff in a 1 gb memoryinto a memo pen.
Instead of an image system with a mini-camera perhaps it's possible to record the travel of the pen tip digitally that can be processed with software to render the motion into either written text or even graphics. That way an artist could draw with the pen and then the recording can create a picture on a computer screen that can be filed or further manipulated with an image program.
Such pen exists and do even more : checkout the Pulse Smartpen from Livescribe. It does what you're saying an even more : record audio with what you write, so you can click and listen back, and extra application can be added to the pen since it's a mini computer in it.
