Why does someone have to give away the seeds?
You need organic seeds old timer. The organising agency will supply certifiedseeds to individuals for organic farming.
I must have misread something earlier and apologise for the first question. I must have been momentarily distacted.
That said, I kinda thought seeds by their very definition were organic. Shows what I know. As for not using pesticides and such that's all very well and good too. But the idea that it will lead to cheaper food is off base. The cost of eliminating pests is higher than just dosing the plants with caterpillar killer. Add in the costs of testing to see if there are no pesticides and there's no way to grow certified organic produce cheaper.
I've compared costs of organic produce at the market. Organic is significantly higher.
THE IDEA IS TO MAKE YOUR OWN ORGANIC MANURE- THE ORGANIC SEEDS WILL BE SUPPLIEDBY THE AGENCY. A BIT OF HONESTY IS EXPECTED FROM EVERY FARMER WHO CULTIVATESTHESE ORGANIC PRODUCE. I CAN ASSURE SUCH ORGANIC PRODUCE WILL BE MUCH CHEAPERTHAN THE ONE'S SOLD IN THE MALLS.
Hold on there cowboy! "A BIT OF HONESTY IS EXPECTED FROM EVERY FARMER WHO CULTIVATESTHESE ORGANIC PRODUCE." Seems to me that if everyone were honest we could get rid of a whole shitload of government agencies, inspectors, and testing facilities and produce would plummet in cost.
All it takes is one less than totally honest farmer to foster distrust and bring down the system. This is why we have regulating and inspecting angencies in the first place, to keep the pricks honest.
