Why not just make a coating you can apply to the light bulb? Have you tried creating your own coating? Does it eventually burn and smell like smoke? Does it damage the bulb? You might be on to something, but you have to prove it will work if you expect to receive any credit for it.
They sell a deodorizer dispenser which plugs into a wall socket. Put it on the same circuit with a lamp.
Although the market is flooded with various deoderizing products. This appears more convenient and potentially longer lasting. A disadvantage would be that your lights have to be on. During the day most individuals would not like to leave on the lights in thier home in order to freshen the air. You should also take into consideration the affect it may have on utility costs.
