you could reduce the amount of code, the time to redesign, and last but not least the problems appearing on various browsers by using strict separation of markup and presenation, i.e. by using W3C-standards-compliant CSS.

We're currently planning a major site redesign, probably using Postnuke. CSS for various browsers will be addressed in the upgrade.
Why do I need it? What does it do? How do I use it? Do I have it already? Is it open source?
I see... this site doesn't work on all browsers.
