SMS Payment Gateway:-The Idea here is to make the Payments via mobile phone, through SMS service.How would it work?The end consumer would buy a prepaid SMS payment card, which would be in various denominations, or it can be achieved by merging an end users debit facility from the banks.The prepaid card would have a pin number, which would need, to be registered on the gateway/server, by sending out the PIN number, on a short SMS code. The server would send back a message, confirming, the particular amount has been update for the following number (which would be the user’s cellular number).While making a payment at a store, e.g. - $10 is the total amount, which needs to be paid; the user would simply SMS the amount, with the store code, immediately getting a confirmation about the payment. The confirmation, could be shown to the store manager or anybody at the counter, else, there could be a POS system at the store, which would show the confirmation on the screen, about the payment received from the consumer.This concept could be refined, if the need arises due to the loopholes.
