Many folks who have chronic lung diseases are addicted to cigarettes and continue to smoke. Why not develop a respiratory medicine delivery system that mimics smoking cigarettes? Smokable albuterol- Ventorettes or something like that. This would take advantage of the patients propensity to smoke. It would replace the negative act of smoking with positive medication compliance.

Cigarettes were made of stramonium leaves which could be smoked;

There was a time when stramonium, a drug obtained from the leaves and seeds of Datura stramonium, was used medicinally (Herbalgram)

Stramonium was used to relax the smooth muscle of the bronchial tubes, and thus it was used to treat an asthmatic's bronchial spasm.
