See a product you like on a TV commercial or information/ advertisement and order it through your Television remote control. Select the product, push buy, confirm the product then insert Pin code and select whether you want it to be added to your satelite/ digital cable bill or charged to your credit card. You would have to fill out or submit credit card information when you decided to get this "tv remote shop box" installed in your home. This would be compatible with your Cable or Satelite box.
any thoughts, besides having the fear of children ordering a thousand toys off of the cartoon network channel? or is this being done somewhere.

A couple of days back, even I had this idea, and I really liked my thoughts..:::-)
Only issue, this would take a long time to implement, and the technology aspect could be pretty hard to deal with or unless you are watching the commercial on a PC.
The technology is mostly there. The issue is whose hardware the "TV buying" platform will work on.
