Why not a cell phone, ipod, etc, in the first place. I was a ham for many years, WV6PGD,WA6PGD,KB6IB,N6NAT, but I lost interest when it stopped being true radio communication.
It goes against the nature of what CB radio is for (somewhat short distance local communications), and may violate the rules for CB radio is some places. If you want to communicate with other people around the world, you can directly do it with computers, or you can get your Amateur radio license can remotely communicate over radio and the internet, or directly with your own radio set.
CB radio operators likely aren't interested in things that aren't in their local region. CB is used more for relaying traffic issues and calls for help, not chit-chat.
