MY CONCEPT:

A REMOTE WHICH CAN USED BY POINTING IT ON THE PROJECTED IMAGE ANDON THE LCD PROJECTOR. YOU COULD HAVE A SMALL MODULE ( IR RECEIVER)AT ONE CORNER OF THE PROJECTED IMAGE WHICH CAN BE LINKED TO THE LCD PRJECTOR BY BLUE TOOTH.

why blue tooth ?

The connection from the remote to the projected TV is through IR.From the IR module(Receiver) to the LCD Projector is through Blue Tooth.

Again, why Bluetooth? You could just orient the remote IR upward rather than forward. If absolutely needed, a wired receiver extension could be placed in the middle of the ceiling.
